Mango Phirni ...:)

Mango phirni is a mouthwatering recipe for those people who love Phirni and mango.This one is a dessert more like pudding or kheer. I have not made this before but phirni is very interesting and very easy recipe dish. After I made this and served it first to my Husband , he said “Wow Deliciousooo".I am feeling soo happy.I hope You also enjoying with my this recipe.

Ingredients:-

  • Raw Rice -  4 spoon (Basmati or Gobindobhog  rice)
  • Milk - 4 cups (whole  milk)
  • Condensed milk - 3/4 cup or sugar/suger cube
  • Pistachio - 10-12(Chopped)
  • Almonds - 10-12(Chopped)
  • Crashed Cardamom  - 3-4
  • Mango puree - 1/2 cup
  • mangoes chopped - 1/4 cup(For garnishing )                                                                                                                                                                                


Method:-


  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water completely and grind it to a coarse paste. Dilute the paste with 1/4 cup of water and keep it ready.
  2. Boil milk at first. Once milk starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and add the rice paste. 
  3. Cook stirring continuously in low or medium flame until the milk thickens well.
  4. Add condensed milk, Crashed cardamom  and cook for a few seconds until everything gets blended well. Switch off the flame. Allow it to cool.
  5. Now add chopped nuts, mango puree .
  6. Pour this mixture into individual earthenware or ceramic bowls. 
  7. Now put  into the refrigerator for  chill .     
  8. Garnish with few chopped mangoes, nuts and serve chilled.
