Rice Flour cooked in milk, loads of nuts and flavored with mango and Litchi. A fruity twist to an all time favorite Indian dessert. Enjoy this rich and creamy mango and Litchi kheer/Pudding recipe.Mango-Litchi kheer is a healthy sweet desert that can be prepared at quick and ready to serve.
Actually before few day's ago I saw one of my favourite cooking group,our great cook Dada Swapan Bose posted one Litchi Kheer/ Payes dish. Not same type,but I inspired that new style keer/pudding & little bit different way & ingredients also I prepare this dessert.Thank u soo much to Swapandada .Hope you also enjoy with my this recipe...:)
Ingredients:-
- 1/2 litre full cream milk/whole milk
- 10 litchis ... peeled and stone removed …and 8 should be chopped into slices... 2 of them should be kept whole (for garnish) .
- 2-3 green cardamoms (just crushed)
- 1 tsp raisin
- 5-6 tsp sugar (as per choice/taste, may increase more)
- 1 cup mango puree
- 7-8 almonds, chopped
- 1 mango,chopped
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 8-10 cashew (3-4 for garnish)
Method:
- Heat the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and reduce the amount approximately half (stir continuously so as to avoid burning).
- Now add rice flour,sugar ,cardamoms & dry fruits .
- After 10-12 mins (while stirring continuously) remove from the flame and allow it little bit cool. Then, add the mango Puree,chopped mango & chopped litchi and mix well.
- Keep in fridge and serve chilled. Before serving, garnish with nuts,Litchi-mango pieces and serve.
